Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ: RIMM) 16.4% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.80, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.87. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.47 billion. Shipped 10.6 million BlackBerry's during the quarter. Sees Q3 2012 EPS of $1.20-$1.40, versus the consensus of $1.36. Sees Q3 2012 revenue of $5.3-$5.6 billion, versus the consensus of $5.27 billion. Sees FY12 adj-EPS toward the low end of its previously-issued range.

AMERIGROUP Corporation (NYSE: AGP) 10.2% LOWER; as revised its full-year 2011 health benefits ratio range to 83.9% to 84.9% from its previous range of 83.1% to 84.1%, reflecting its expectation for higher medical cost trends in the year. The Company is revising its 2011 parameter for the selling, general and administrative ratio range to 7.9% plus or minus 20 basis points from its previous expectation of 7.8% plus or minus 20 basis points, primarily reflecting the impact of start-up costs related to the recently announced expansion in Texas. The Company continues to expect its net income margin to be within its long-term range of 2.5% to 3.5%, but is removing the previous clarifying statement as to where within the range. Finally, the Company is lowering its expectation for the diluted share count range to $50-$51 million from its previous range of $53-$54 million.

Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE) 7.2% LOWER; today updated its outlook for the third quarter and full year 2011 and provided a preliminary outlook for 2012. Cooper expects fully diluted earnings per share for the 3rd quarter to be in the range of $0.94-$0.98. Sales are expected to increase 9% to 12% versus the third quarter of 2010, including the revenue contribution from the Martek and Gitiesse acquisitions (approximately $25 million). Cooper expects fully diluted earnings per share from continuing operations for fiscal year 2011 to be in the range of $3.75-$3.82.

Broadwind Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: BWEN) 6.5% LOWER; today announced that it is offering to sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering.

Diamond Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: DMND) 3.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.52, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $232.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $216.34 million. Diamond Foods, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $3.05-$3.15, versus prior guidance of $3.00-$3.10 and the consensus of $3.10. Diamond Foods, Inc. sees FY2012 revenue of $1.85-$1.95 billion, versus the consensus of $1.87 billion.

AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) 1.5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.41, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $479.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $456.36 million.

American Capital (Nasdaq: ACAS) 1.4% HIGHER; announced today that since early August, it has made open market purchases of 9.1 million shares of American Capital common stock at an average price of $8.21 per share, totaling $75.0 million. American Capital also announced that its Board of Directors has adopted a program that may provide for additional repurchases of shares or dividend payments through December 31, 2012.
