Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL) 7.1% LOWER; today revised its guidance for the third quarter 2011. The company now expects its third quarter revenue to range from $184 million to $188 million, versus previous guidance of $205 million to $213 million.

MBIA, Inc. (NYSE: MBI) 4.6% LOWER; In a 13G filing on MBIA, Bruce Berkowitz's hedge fund Fairholme Capital disclosed a 24.84%, or 48,879,744 share, stake in the company. This is up 4.37% from the 46,832,270 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending June 30, 2011.

SunPower Corp. (Nasdaq: SPWRA)(Nasdaq: SPWRB) 3.1% LOWER; has authorized and will recommend that shareholders approve a proposal to reclassify all outstanding shares of the company's Class A common stock and Class B common stock into a single class of common stock on a one-for-one basis. Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ: CIEN) 2.4% HIGHER; In a 13G filing on Ciena hedge fund Soros Fund Management disclosed a 4.99%, or 5,092,926 share, stake in the company.

Eastman Kodak (NYSE: EK) 2% HIGHER; continuing to push higher after hours following a very sharp 9 percent move higher over just the last few minutes of trade today.

Walter Energy, Inc. (NYSE: WLT) 1.3% HIGHER; has appointed Walter J. "Walt" Scheller III chief executive officer and has elected him to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Continental Resources Inc. (NYSE: CLR) 1% HIGHER; Harold Ham disclosed the purchase of 100,000 shares on 9/8-9/9 at prices from $50.57-$52.40.
