Revenue for the quarter came in at $109.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $113.43 million. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of $103-$110 million, versus the consensus of $116 million. Also sees net loss of $(0.04) per diluted share to net income of $0.04 per diluted share on a GAAP basis.
Photronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAB) 8.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $131.78 million.
Dell, Inc. (NASDAQ: DELL) 7.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.54, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $15.76 billion. Sees FY11 sales growth of 1-5%, down from prior guidance of 5-9%. Southern Union Company (NYSE: SUG) 1.9% HIGHER; Williams (NYSE: WMB) affirmed its strong interest in acquiring the company for $44.00 per share in cash. Williams conveyed its proposal via a letter to the Special Committee of Southern Union's Board of Directors.
