Blue Coat Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BCSI) 15.2% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.18, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $109.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $113.43 million. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of $103-$110 million, versus the consensus of $116 million. Also sees net loss of $(0.04) per diluted share to net income of $0.04 per diluted share on a GAAP basis.
Photronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAB) 8.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $131.78 million.
Dell, Inc. (NASDAQ: DELL) 7.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.54, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $15.76 billion. Sees FY11 sales growth of 1-5%, down from prior guidance of 5-9%. Sees operating income growth of 17-23%.
Skullcandy (NASDAQ: SKUL) 7.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.22, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $52.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $49 million. Sees FY2011 EPS of $0.82-$0.92, versus the consensus of $0.95. Skullcandy sees FY2011 revenue of $208-$218 million, versus the consensus of $221 million.
iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT) 3.5% HIGHER; will replace EMS Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ELMG) after the close of trading on Friday, August 19.
Jamba, Inc. (NASDAQ: JMBA) 3.2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.05, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $58.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $56.02 million. Same-store sales rose 4.3%.
Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI) 3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.71, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $758 million versus the consensus estimate of $780.49 million. Sees Q411 EPS of 60 to 68 cents on revs of $715 to $755 million, missing views calling for earnings of 74 cents on revenue of $784 million.
Southern Union Company (NYSE: SUG) 1.9% HIGHER; Williams (NYSE: WMB) affirmed its strong interest in acquiring the company for $44.00 per share in cash. Williams conveyed its proposal via a letter to the Special Committee of Southern Union's Board of Directors.
Tennant Co. (NYSE: TNC) 1.4% HIGHER; will replace Gerber Scientific Inc. (NYSE: GRB) after the close of trading on a date to be announced.
