Midas, Inc. (NYSE: MDS) 37% HIGHER; today announced that its board of directors will explore and evaluate a range of strategic and financial alternatives to enhance value for stockholders. The company has retained J.P. Morgan Securities LLC to assist in this process.

Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDTI) 17% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.93), $0.47 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.46). Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $11.85 million.

Quepasa Corp. (NYSE: QPSA) 17% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.14), versus ($0.15) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.8 million, versus $1.2 million reported last year.

Bally Technologies (NYSE: BYI) 15.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.51, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $213.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $203.53 million.

Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ: NVDA) 12% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.32, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.02 million versus the consensus estimate of $1.01 billion. Sees Q3 sales up 4 to 6 percent.

Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) 8.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.52, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $99.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $98.59 million. Raises FY11 production outlook to a range of 4,941 - 5,881 MT of REO, saw 4,0541 - 5,813 MT prior.

Renren (NYSE: RENN) 8.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.00, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $30.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $29.49 million. Sees Q3 2011 revenue of $33.5-$35.5 million, versus the consensus of $35.20 million.

Great Panther Resources Limited (NYSE: GPL) 8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.02, versus $0.04 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.56 million, versus $9.32 million reported last year.

Emulex Corp. (NYSE: ELX) 6.5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.16, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) 3.4% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.80, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.72 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.71 billion. Comps up 7.3 percent. Nordstrom, Inc. sees FY2011 EPS from $2.80 to $2.95 to a range of $2.95-$3.10, versus the consensus of $3.05.

Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) 3.4% LOWER; commences a secondary public offering of 7,500,000 common units representing limited partner interests owned by Vulcan Energy Corporation. The underwriters are expected to be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,125,000 additional common units to cover over-allotments, if any.

DeVry, Inc. (NYSE: DV) 3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.08, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $1.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $546.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $545.71 million.

ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ: MANT) 3% HIGHER; was awarded a prime contract to provide continuing logistics, analytical and program support services for the U.S. Navy, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) in Norfolk, Virginia. The fixed price, single-award contract has one base year and four option periods, with a total ceiling value of $6.8 million.

AdCare Health Systems (NYSE: ADK) 2% HIGHER; reported Q2 GAAP loss of ($0.52), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $34.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $39 million.
