Career Education Corp (NASDAQ: CECO) 10.3% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.74, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $497.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $504.5 million. New student starts of 24,880.

MasTec, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) 10% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.31, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $751 million versus the consensus estimate of $670.63 million. Sees Q3 2011 EPS of $0.36, versus the consensus of $0.35.
