DG (Nasdaq: DGIT) 16.8% HIGHER; to explore strategic alternatives, including partnerships, strategic business model alternatives, a sale or other transaction. DG has engaged Goldman, Sachs and Co. in conjunction with the exploration of strategic alternatives.

Mattress Firm (Nasdaq: MFRM) 10.2% LOWER; boosted its Q2 adj-EPS guidance from 35-50 cents to 38-40 cents and its GAAP estimate from 26-29 cents to 27-29 cents. Quarterly sales guidance was lowered from $270-$275 million to $260-$265 million. The FY12 non-GAAP outlook moved from $1.63-$1.69 to $1.65-$1.71 and the GAAP outlook was raised from $1.46-$1.50 to $1.48-$1.52. The FY12 sales outlook was reduced from $1.03-$1.06 billion to $1.01-$1.03 billion.

Select Comfort (Nasdaq: SCSS) 7.3% LOWER; trading lower amid Mattress Firm's top-line warning.

StanCorp (NYSE: SFG) 4.4% LOWER; expecting Q2 adj-EPS of 51 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of 86 cents. Sees its previously-issued FY12 EPS outlook of $3.60-$3.90 to be below guidance. The Street estimate is $3.57.

Kennedy-Wilson Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: KW) 4.4% LOWER; announced that it plans to sell 7,500,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The company also plans to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,125,000 shares.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (AMEX: LNG) 4.1% LOWER; announced today that it has agreed to sell 20,000,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering under an effective shelf registration statement. The underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 3,000,000 additional shares of common stock from Cheniere to cover any over-allotments.

HSBC (NYSE: HBC) 3.4% LOWER; hearing the bank's US unit reportedly transferred funds linked to Iran and/or drug cartels.

Packaging Corp. Of America (NYSE: PKG) 2.7% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.49, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $712 million versus the consensus estimate of $689.39 million. Sees Q3 2012 EPS of $0.54, versus the consensus of $0.53.

Cintas Corp (NASDAQ: CTAS) 2.5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.60, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.05 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.07 billion. Sees FY2013 EPS of $2.47-$2.55, versus the consensus of $2.54. Sees FY2013 revenue of $4.25-$4.35 billion, versus the consensus of $4.33 billion.

Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) 2% HIGHER; names Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Melissa Mayer as the new CEO.

Splunk, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLK) 1.6% LOWER; updated its June 27th S-1 filing to specify the sale of 11,744,064 shares on behalf of selling shareholders. The comapny will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares in this offering.

VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) 1% HIGHER; hearing reports is planning to spin-out some of its cloud business to keep up with Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) and Google (Nasdaq: GOOG).

FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) 1% LOWER; sees Q2 sales of about $338 million and EPS of about 26 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of $380.4 million and 30 cents, respectively. Re-evaluated its previously announced revenue and earnings outlook for the full year 2012 and now expects revenue to be in the range of $1.4 billion to $1.5 billion, a decrease of approximately 3% to 9% compared to 2011, and net income to be in the range of $1.40 to $1.50 per diluted share, an increase of approximately 1% to 9% compared to 2011.

Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) 1% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.29, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $290.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $294.66 million.

Joe's Jean, Inc. (NASDAQ: JOEZ) INDICATED HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.02, versus $0.00 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $28.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $25.96 million.

The Hartford (NYSE: HIG) INDICATED LOWER; expects to report current accident year catastrophe losses of $280 million to $300 million, before tax ($180 million to $195 million, after tax), in the second quarter of 2012, as compared with $447 million, before tax ($290 million, after tax) in the second quarter of 2011. Second quarter 2012 losses resulted from 13 catastrophe events, including several major hailstorms and the June 28 storms that produced widespread losses in the Ohio River Valley and Mid-Atlantic states.

JB Hunt Transport Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: JBHT) INDICATED LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.67, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.67. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.26 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.3 billion.

ICU Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICUI) INDICATED LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.63, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $77.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $77.98 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $2.55-$2.70, versus prior guidance of $2.45-$2.70 and the consensus of $2.58. Sees FY2012 revenue of $318-$325 million, versus prior guidance of $318-$330 million and the consensus of $321.3 million.
