Google, Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) 11.5% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $8.74, $0.88 better than the analyst estimate of $7.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.92 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.54 billion.

Seattle Genetics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGEN) 6.8% LOWER; announced that the Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee to the U.S. FDA voted 10-0 to recommend that the FDA grant accelerated approval of ADCETRIS™ (brentuximab vedotin) for the treatment of patients with Hodgkin lymphoma who relapse after autologous stem cell transplant. In addition, ODAC voted 10-0 to recommend that the FDA grant accelerated approval of ADCETRIS for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma

Resources Connection (NASDAQ: RECN) 6.5% HIGHER; reported Q4 adjusted EPS of $0.09, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $147.16 million.

Valmont Industries, Inc. (NYSE: VMI) 5.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.58, ex-items, vs. the analyst estimate of $1.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $668.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $613.14 million. Sees FY11 EPS of $5.70-$5.95, vs. the consensus of $5.34.

Genesis Energy (NYSE: GEL) 4.1% LOWER; to offer 6.85 million common units. Selling holders will sell 1.15 million of the units. The company will offer underwriters an additional 1.2 million units in order to cover over-allotments, if any.

Ralcorp (NYSE: RAH) 3.3% LOWER; to separate Ralcorp, Post Foods in a tax-free spin-off. The company offered some seemingly weak guidance. Preliminary Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $1.13-$1.18, vs. the consensus of $1.39. Lowered its FY11 EPS guidance from $5.45-$5.55 to $5.20-$5.35, which compares to the Street estimate of $5.53. Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) 3.2% HIGHER; trader higher amid strong quarterly results from Google.

Two Harbors Investment Corp. (NYSE: TWO) 2.5% LOWER; announces a 35 million common stock offering. The company has also granted the underwriters an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 5,250,000 shares of common stock to cover overallotments.

Towerstream (Nasdaq: TWER) 2.2% HIGHER; today announced that it is offering to sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Towerstream also expects to grant the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of common stock offered in the public offering to cover over-allotments, if any.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPHM) 1.9% HIGHER; reported Q2 loss of ($0.15), in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.15). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.83 million versus the consensus estimate of $2.28 million.

Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) 1.8% HIGHER; trader higher amid strong quarterly results from Google.
