(Nasdaq: TSRA) 8.2% LOWER; today announced preliminary total revenues of approximately $71 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, versus the Street's estimate of $77 million. This compares to the previous second quarter 2011 guidance of between $75.5 million and $78.5 million in total revenues.
OCZ Technology (NASDAQ: OCZ) 6% HIGHER; reported Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $0.01, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $73.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $69.45 million. OCZ Technology sees FY2012 revenue of $310-$345 million, versus the consensus of $325.7 million.
Quepasa Corporation (AMEX: QPSA) 5.3% LOWER; announced that its first proprietary social gaming title had achieved over two million installs. Cidade Maravilhosa, or "Wonderful City - Rio," is a city-building game that is localized for Latin American audiences, inviting users to build their own Rio de Janeiro. Quepasa launched the game on Quepasa.com and Orkut in mid-May, and on Facebook in mid-June.
Lender Processing Services (NYSE: LPS) 4.9% LOWER; announces the resignation of its CEO Jeff Carbiener, citing health concerns.
AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) 4% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.55, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $479.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $459.11 million.
A. Schulman, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHLM) 2.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.65, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $611.14 million versus the consensus estimate of $548 million. Based upon year-to-date results, the Company reaffirms its fiscal 2011 net income guidance in the range of $57 million to $62 million. The guidance assumes a euro exchange rate of $1.35.
Unify Corporation New (NASDAQ: UNFY) 1.4% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.08, versus $0.14 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.8 million, versus $8.4 million reported last year.
American Airlines (NYSE: AMR) 0.9% HIGHER; reported its June traffic increased 1.3 percent versus the same period last year. Capacity increased 1.8 percent year over year, resulting in a load factor of 86.3 percent compared to 86.8 percent in the same period last year. International traffic increased by 4.8 percent relative to last year on a capacity increase of 3.8 percent. Domestic traffic decreased 0.9 percent year over year on a capacity increase of 0.5 percent.
Visa (NYSE: V) 0.8% LOWER; reaffirmed its FY11 sales and earnings growth guidance. The company said it expects FY12 EPS growth in the mid-to-high teens and sales growth in the high single-digit to low double-digit range.
The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG) 0.8% LOWER; today announced the estimated impact of catastrophe losses for the second quarter of 2011. The Hanover estimated the impact of its catastrophe losses in the second quarter to be in the range of $145 to $160 million before tax, or $2.08 to $2.30 per share after tax. The company previously announced estimated catastrophe losses for the month of April to be between $70 and $85 million before tax.
Zumiez (Nasdaq: ZUMZ) INDICATED HIGHER; reports total sales for the month of June were $43.5 million, up 16.8 percent from the same period last year. Same store sales rose 9.8 percent.
