New York Mortgage Trust (Nasdaq: NYMT) 5.6% LOWER; announces a public offering of 2 million shares of common stock.
Accenture plc (NYSE: ACN) 5% HIGHER; will replace Marshall & Ilsley Corp. (NYSE: MI) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 5.
Nike (NYSE: NKE) 4.5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.24, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.77 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.54 billion. Inventories up 33 percent to $2.7 billion at the end of the quarter.
Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: EEP) 3.4% LOWER; has commenced a 7 million common Unit offering. The Partnership is expected to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1.05 million units to cover overallotments, if any.
Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) 2.6% LOWER; commences a 6.5 million comon share offering.
Standard Microsystems Corp (NASDAQ: SMSC) 2% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.26 (or 47 cents on an adjusted basis), vs. the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $103.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $101.33 million. Sees Q2 2011 EPS of $0.36-$0.38, versus the consensus of $0.38. Sees Q2 2011 revenue of $112-$114 million, versus the consensus of $107.66 million.
GMX Resources, Inc. (NYSE: GMXR) 1.7% LOWER; filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to sell, from time to time, up to 3,542,091 shares of Common Stock on behalf of Selling Shareholders. GMX Resources will not receive proceeds from the offering.
Kraft Foods (NYSE: KFT) 1.2% HIGHER; Nelson Peltz disclosed in an amended 13F filing that he held 12,176,335 shares at the end of the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Peltz had confidentiality treatment with the SEC which ended June 17, 2011.
