Intermec, Inc. (NYSE: IN) 21% LOWER; announced that due in part to significantly weaker than expected demand in Europe, the Company estimates Q1 2012 consolidated revenue to be approximately $180 million, down from its previously forecasted revenue range of $200 to $210 million. (Consensus estimate is $207.13 mln) In addition, the Company updated its adjusted diluted earnings (loss) per share guidance for the first quarter to approximately ($0.24) per diluted share, based on currently estimated first quarter GAAP loss of approximately ($0.28) per diluted share. (consensus is $0.04 profit)

United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) 8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.17, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Adjusted EPS for the quarter was $0.36 per diluted share. Revenue for the quarter came in at $656 million versus the consensus estimate of $609.95 million. Reaffirms FY cash flow.

Cree, Inc. (NASDAQ: CREE) 7% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.20, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $284.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $300.76 million. Sees Q4 2012 EPS of $0.20-$0.26, versus the consensus of $0.28. Sees Q4 2012 revenue of $295-$315 million, versus the consensus of $323 million.

Tsakos Energy Navigation Limited (NYSE: TNP) 5.9% LOWER; announced today that it plans to offer 10,000,000 of its common shares in a public offering. Entities affiliated with the Tsakos Foundation, which is the Company's largest shareholder, have indicated their intention to purchase approximately 10% of the common shares sold in the offering. In connection with the offering, the Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional common shares.

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISRG) 4.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $3.50, $0.36 better than the analyst estimate of $3.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $495 million versus the consensus estimate of $464.7 million. On its Q1 conference call, CEO Gary Guthart has said the company is target FY12 sales growth of 19-21 percent. The company had been target sales growth of 17-19 percent. Procedures are expected to be up 25-27 percent, versus prior guidance of 24-26 percent.

Yahoo, Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) 3% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.24, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.08 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.06 billion. Ssees Q2 2012 revenue of $1.03-$1.14 billion, versus the consensus of $1.08 billion.

CSX Corp. (NYSE: CSX) 2.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.43, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.97 million versus the consensus estimate of $2.93 billion.

Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) 2.6% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.56, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $12.84 billion. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of $13.6 billion +/- $500M, versus the consensus of $13.43 billion.

IBM (NYSE: IBM) 2.3% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $2.78, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $2.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $24.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $24.77 billion. Raises its FY12 EPS outlook from at least $14.85 to at least $15.

Seagate Technology (NASDAQ: STX) 2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $2.64, $0.53 better than the analyst estimate of $2.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.45 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.38 billion.

Layne Christensen (Nasdaq: LAYN) 1.9% LOWER; has just filed to delay its 10-K in order to determine the amount for an impairment. The company is anticipating a "significant loss" for FY12 from the impairment. Now sees a FY12 loss of $55-$60 million.
