American Superconductor (Nasdaq: AMSC) 42% LOWER; cuts guidance: Sees Q4 sales less than $42 million, vs. the consensus of $119.13 million. Also sees a quarterly net loss on both GAAP and non-GAAP basis. Sees FY10 sales to be less than $355 million, down from prior guidance of $430-$440 million. The company said the EPS will be "well below the company's previous forecasts."

Dollar Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: DLLR) 4.6% LOWER; commences a 5 million common stock offering. The Company also intends to grant to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

Mitcham Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: MIND) 4.1% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.23, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $19.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $20.64 million.

Kilroy Realty Corporation (NYSE: KRC) 3.9% LOWER; commences a 4.5 million common stock offering. The company expects to grant to the underwriters for the public offering a 30-day option to purchase up to 675,000 additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any.

Wet Seal (Nasdaq: WTSLA) 3.6% HIGHER; upgraded to Overweight at Piper Jaffray. The firm raised its price target on the stock from $4 to $5.

Infinera (Nasdaq: INFN) 2.4% LOWER; falling amid the warning from Oclaro.

CIENA (Nasdaq: CIEN) 2.1% LOWER; falling amid the warning from Oclaro.

Oplink (Nasdaq: OPLK) 2% LOWER; falling amid the warning from Oclaro.

Urban Outfitters (Nasdaq: URBN) 1.8% HIGHER; upgraded to Overweight at Piper Jaffray.

Finisar (Nasdaq: FNSR) 1.6% LOWER; falling amid the warning from Oclaro.

Optimer (Nasdaq: OPTR) 1.5% LOWER; says FDA advisory panel votes to recommend fidaxomicin for the treatment of patients with CDI.

Zumiez (Nasdaq: ZUMZ) 1.4% HIGHER; upgraded to Overweight at Piper Jaffray. The firm raised its price target from $27 to $33.

Corporate Office Properties (NYSE: OFC) 1.2% LOWER; disclosed that it recognized an impairment loss of $28 million, or about 39c per share, related to an Army base known as Fort Ritchie. The company said it now expects to report Q1 FFO of 12-15c on the impairment, down from prior guidance of 51-54c. For FY11, FFO will be around $1.96-$2.18, down from previous guidance of $2.35-$2.57.

Oclaro (Nasdaq: OCLR) 1% LOWER; lowering guidance: sees Q3 sales of $116.5 million, vs. the consensus of $124.26 million. The company had previously forecast quarterly sales of $123-$131 million.
