Revenue for the quarter came in at $153.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $125.16 million. Sees FY2012 revenue of $460-$480 million, versus the consensus of $442.06 million.
Rex Energy (Nasdaq: REXX) 6.8% LOWER; announces 7 million share common stock offering.
DURECT Corporation (Nasdaq: DRRX) 6.8% LOWER; today reported that Takeda (through Nycomed) has given notice that it is returning its development and commercialization rights to POSIDUR (SABER-Bupivacaine) in Europe and their other licensed territories. Takeda acquired its rights to POSIDUR through its acquisition of Nycomed in September, 2011. POSIDUR is a post-operative pain relief depot that utilizes DURECT's patented SABER technology to deliver bupivacaine and is designed to provide up to three days of pain relief after surgery. Takeda has committed to assist in an orderly and rapid transition of data generated by Nycomed back to DURECT.
Hologic, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLX) 5.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.34, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $472.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $466.51 million. Sees Q2 2012 EPS of $0.33, versus the consensus of $0.33. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of $470-$475 million, versus the consensus of $471.01 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $1.36-$1.38, versus prior guidance of $1.35-$1.37 and the consensus of $1.36.

Coinstar (Nasdaq: CSTR) 1.9% LOWER; announced its President and COO Gregg Kaplan will be taking a leave of absence due to a family illness. The exec expects to return to the company in April of 2012. The company has named Scott Di Valerio, the current CFO, as Interim President of Redbox and Paul Davis, current CEO, as President and COO of Coinstar.
