Revenue for the quarter was $23.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $17.85 million. Sees FY10 sales of $80 million and adj-EPS of about $0.05. The Street is currently looking for annual sales of $100 million on EPS of $0.21.
GSC Investment Corp (NYSE: GNV) 14.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.10, 1 cent better than estimates. Net asset value was $3.80 per share as of November 30, 2009 as compared to $6.91 per share as of August 31, 2009.
Aastrom Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTM) 14% LOWER; today announced that it intends to offer to sell, subject to market and other conditions, units consisting of shares of its common stock, Class A warrants and Class B warrants, in an underwritten public offering.
FalconStor Software (Nasdaq: FALC) 13.4% LOWER; sees a Q4 adj-loss of $0.02-$0.03 on sales of $21.5-$22 million. The Street is currently looking for quarterly EPS of $0.07 on sales of $26.65 million.
Image Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: DISK) 8.7% HIGHER; has received letters from NASDAQ staff on January 8, 2010 and January 13, 2010 citing various violations of NASDAQ Listing Rules most of which are related to the Company's recently concluded $22 million preferred stock financing. Those violations include Listing Rules 5635(d), 5635(b) and 5640 relating to the issuance of 20% or more of the pre-transaction shares at a discount to market value and effecting a change in control of the Company without obtaining shareholder approval, and the issuance of "super-voting stock."
Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENER) 5.8% HIGHER; today announced plans to establish a 30MW solar laminate manufacturing facility in France. Southern Community Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: SCMF) 4.6% LOWER; announced that it expects to record a provision for loan losses of approximately $18.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2009, compared to $6.0 million in the third quarter of 2009, based on preliminary results. The increase in the provision for loan losses, which will result in a loss for the fourth quarter of 2009, is primarily in response to a higher level of nonperforming assets resulting from the persistent weak economic environment. The Company also expects to record a $1.3 million charge to reflect reduced carrying values on foreclosed real estate.
