(Nasdaq: IDSY) 18.2% HIGHER; has acquired Asset Intelligence, LLC, a business unit of General Electric Co., for $15 million in cash, with an additional cash consideration of up to $2 million payable upon the achievement of certain performance milestones. Asset Intelligence provides trailer and container tracking solutions for manufacturers, retailers, shippers and freight transportation providers, and has more than 120,000 units under contract. Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: SNTA) 11.1% LOWER; intends to offer, subject to market and other conditions, shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering.

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NYSE: NUHC) 8.2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.04, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter was $179.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $164.60 million.

Genomic Health, Inc. (NASDaQ: GHDX) 5.9% LOWER; today announced that it expects to meet its 2009 annual revenue guidance. Preliminary total revenue for the year ended December 31, 2009 is expected to be $149.5 million, compared with $110.6 million in 2008, representing an increase of 35 percent. Lawson Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: LWSN) 5% LOWER; reports Q2 adj-EPS of $0.09, inline with the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter was $184.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $176.21 million. Sees Q3 sales of $174-$178 million and adj-EPS of $0.07-$0.09. The Street is currently looking for Q3 sales and EPS of $174.88 million and $0.10, respectively. Also announced that it has agreed to acquire Healthvision Systems for $160 million.

Apollo Group Inc. (Nasdaq: APOL) 4.7% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $1.47, versus the consensus of $1.46. Revenues came in at $1.27 billion, versus the consensus of $1.23 billion.

Burger King Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BKC) 4.3% HIGHER; BKC will replace MPS Group Inc. (NYSE: MPS) in the S&P MidCap 400.

Syms Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMS) 4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.76, versus ($0.06) reported for the same period in 2008. Revenue for the quarter was $135.16 million, which compares to the estimate of $88.92 million.

DemandTec, Inc. (NASDAQ: DMAN) 2.1% LOWER; reports Q3 adj-EPS of $0.04, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $20.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $19.94 million.

Analogic Corporation (Nasdaq: ALOG) 1.9% HIGHER; announced today that it has received an order from L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems, Inc., for EXplosive Assessment Computed Tomography (EXACT(R)) systems valued at approximately $10 million. The certified eXaminer(R) 3DX Explosives Detection System, developed in collaboration between Analogic and L-3, incorporates the EXACT subsystem. This new order is expected to start shipping in the second quarter of fiscal 2010.

Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN) 1.8% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.71, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter was $409 million, which compares to the estimate of $414.35 million. Raises its FY10 EPS guidance to $2.35-$2.46, versus the consensus of $2.45. Sales for the year move to $1.58-$1.62 billion, which compares to the consensus of $1.65 billion.
