Union Drilling (Nasdaq: UDRL) 16% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.18, 20 cents below analyst estimates of $0.38. Revenues for the quarter were $67.4 million, versus the consensus of $73.60 million.
Coldwater Creek (Nasdaq: CWTR) 16% LOWER; analyst estimate of ($0.19). Revenues for the quarter were $345.5 million, versus the consensus of $358.29 million. Sees Q1 revenues in the range of $233-$246 million, versus the consensus of $295.01 million. EPS are expected to be ($0.17)-($0.14), versus the Street estimate of ($0.04). FY08 revs are expected to be $1.05-$1.125 billion, versus $1.16 billion. EPS for the year are expected to be ($0.20)-0.00, versus ($0.03).
DXP Enterprises Inc. (Nasdaq: DXPE) 10% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.84, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenues for the quarter were $168.8 million, versus the consensus of $164 million.
Theravance, Inc. (NASDAQ: THRX) 9% HIGHER; announced that on March 4, 2008 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepted as complete for review Theravance's response to the October 19, 2007 New Drug Application (NDA) approvable letter for telavancin.
Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) 7% LOWER; said comparable store sales decreased 2.6% for the four-week period ended March 1, 2008. Total net sales for the four-week period ended March 1, 2008 increased 11.5% to $23.1 million.
Martek Biosciences Corp. (Nasdaq: MATK) 7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.26, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenues for the quarter were $82.9 million, versus the consensus of $81 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.24-$0.26, versus the consensus of $0.23. Revenues are expected to be about $82-$83 million, versus the consensus of $83.15 million.
PetSmart (Nasdaq: PETM) 5% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.59, in line with analyst estimates of $0.59. Revenues for the quarter were $1.33 billion, versus the consensus of $1.33 billion. Sees Q1 eps 29-33 cents versus 35 cents. Sees full year eps $1.51. to $1.59 versus $1.58.
STEC (Nasdaq: STEC) 4.7% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.07, 1 cent below analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenues for the quarter were $53 million, versus the consensus of $49.43 million. Q1 2-3 cents versus 6 cents. Sees Q1 revenue $45-$47 million versus $45.5 million.
TiVo Inc (Nasdaq: TIVO) 4% HIGHER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.06, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenues for the quarter were $74.1 million, versus the consensus of $59.31 million. Sees Q1 revs of $51-$53 million, versus the consensus of $60.3 million.
ADC Telecommunications Inc. (Nasdaq: ADCT) 2% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.28, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenues for the quarter were $338.5 million, versus the consensus of $318.1 million. Sees FY08 revs of $1.48-$1.58 billion, versus the consensus of $1.48 billion.
