La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company. (NASDAQ: LJPC) 24.2% HIGHER; announced positive top-line results from its randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 2 trial of GCS-100 in chronic kidney disease (CKD). The trial met its primary efficacy endpoint of a statistically significant improvement in kidney function. Specifically, a dose of 1.5 mg/m2 led to a statistically significant (p=0.045) increase in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) compared to placebo between baseline and end of treatment. At the 30 mg/m2 dose, there was no statistically significant difference.

Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK) 14.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.02, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $24.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $29 million.

American Eagle Energy (AMEX: AMZG) 11% LOWER; announced it intends to commence an underwritten public offering of 10,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock after giving effect to a 1 for 4 reverse stock split that will occur concurrently with pricing of the offering. The Company plans to use the net proceeds from this offering (i) to fund the exercise of its purchase option to acquire a portion of its JV partner's interests in its existing acreage and wells in the Spyglass Area, (ii) to fund a portion of its capital budget for the 12-month period ending December 31, 2014, and (iii) for general corporate purposes, including working capital and additional leasehold acquisitions. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 shares of common stock.

PowerSecure International (NASDAQ: POWR) 10.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.13, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $73.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $69.18 million.

Boyd Gaming Corp. (NYSE: BYD) 9.4% HIGHER; In a 13D filing hedge fund Elliott Associates disclosed a 4.99%, or 5,380,000 share, stake in the company.

Nuverra Environmental Solution (NYSE: NES) 5.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.42), may not compare to the analyst estimate of ($0.47). Revenue for the quarter came in at $128.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $152.06 million.

Douglas Dynamics (NYSE: PLOW) 5.4% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.38, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $73 million versus the consensus estimate of $57.68 million. The Company reported Adjusted EBITDA of $19.8 million for the fourth quarter of 2013, compared to Adjusted EBITDA of $4.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2012. Douglas Dynamics sees FY2014 EPS of $0.65-$1.20, versus the consensus of $0.81. Douglas Dynamics sees FY2014 revenue of $200-260 million, versus the consensus of $202.67 million.

Vringo, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNG) 4.9% LOWER; announced operating results for the year ended December 31, 2013. Hill International (NYSE: HIL) 4% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.03), $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145 million versus the consensus estimate of $134.74 million. Hill International sees FY 2014 revenue of $575-600 million, versus the consensus of $566.52 million.

Ruckus Wireless (NYSE: RKUS) 3% LOWER; Bernstein initiated coverage with an Underperform rating and a price target of $7.00.

Casey's General Stores (NASDAQ: CASY) 2.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.38, $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.79 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.84 billion.

Stock Building Supply Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: STCK) 2.2% LOWER; announced the commencement of a public offering of 6,600,000 shares of its common stock by certain stockholders, including Gores Building Holdings, LLC ("Gores") and members of management, pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-1 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission"). Gores will also grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 990,000 shares of common stock. Stock Building Supply will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of the shares of common stock in the offering.

Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ: URBN) 2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.59, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $905.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $906 million. Comp sales increased 1%.

Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Nasdaq: TKMR) 1.7% LOWER; announced that it is offering to sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering to raise gross proceeds of approximately US$60 million. Tekmira also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of its common stock offered in the public offering to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by Tekmira, with net proceeds to be used to develop and advance product candidates through clinical trials, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes. The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

Infoblox (NYSE: BLOX) 1% HIGHER; Piper Jaffray initiated coverage with an Overweight rating and a price target of $30.00.

Aruba Networks (NASDAQ: ARUN) 0.7% LOWER; Bernstein initiated coverage with an Underperform rating and a price target of $14.00.
