Puma Biotechnology, Inc. (NYSE: PBYI) 19% HIGHER; announced positive top line results from the Phase II clinical trial of Puma's investigational drug PB272 (neratinib) for the neoadjuvant treatment of breast cancer (I-SPY 2 TRIAL).

Mattress Firm (NASDAQ: MFRM) 12.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.55, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $326.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $320.43 million. Net Sales Increased 18% with 2.9% Comparable Store Sales Growth. Mattress Firm sees FY2013 EPS of $1.75-$1.83, versus prior guidance of $1.75-$1.83 and the consensus of $1.77. Mattress Firm sees FY2013 revenue of $1.217-1.224 billion, versus prior guidance of $1.194-1.207 billion and the consensus of $1.2 billion.

Lehigh Gas Partners LP (NYSE: LGP) 5% LOWER; announced the commencement of a public offering of 3,100,000 common units representing limited partner interests in the Partnership. In connection with the offering, the Partnership expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 465,000 common units.

General Growth Properties, Inc (NYSE: GGP) 4.8% HIGHER; added to S&P 500

Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) 4.5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.56, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $504.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $505.82 million. Synopsys, Inc. sees FY2014 EPS of $2.55-$2.60, versus the consensus of $2.54. Synopsys, Inc. sees FY2014 revenue of $2.06-2.085 billion, versus the consensus of $2.09 billion. Synopsys, Inc. sees Q1 2013 EPS of $0.51-$0.53, versus the consensus of $0.61. Synopsys, Inc. sees Q1 2013 revenue of $475-485 million, versus the consensus of $504.3 million. Korn/Ferry Int'l (NYSE: KFY) 4.2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.41, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.34. Revenue for the quarter came in at $238 million versus the consensus estimate of $234.19 million.

Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.29), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.24). Revenue for the quarter came in at $514.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $519.07 million. Comparable sales, including the e-commerce channel, for the third quarter decreased 15%, compared to the corresponding 13-week period ended November 3, 2012. Net revenue from the Company's e-commerce business for the third quarter of fiscal 2013, including net revenues from the GoJane.com business, which was acquired on November 13, 2012, was flat to the year ago period. Sees Q3 2013 EPS of ($0.32)-($0.24), versus the consensus of $0.08.

Safeway Inc. (NYSE: SWY) 2.4% LOWER; JANA Partners lowers stake

Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX) 1.9% HIGHER; announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program of up to $500 million through December 31, 2014. Share repurchases may be made by the company from time to time in open market transactions at prevailing market prices or in privately negotiated transactions.

Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) 1.5% LOWER; not included in S&P 500 as rumored

Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE: ABX) 1% HIGHER; announced that its Founder and Chairman, Peter Munk, will retire as Chairman of Barrick and will step down from the company's Board of Directors at the 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (AGM). Mr. Munk founded Barrick in 1983, growing the company from a small junior producer with one mine into the global gold industry leader and a Canadian champion, with operations on five continents. John L. Thornton, who has played an increasingly important role at Barrick since his appointment as Co-Chairman in 2012, will become Chairman at the 2014 AGM.

Citi (NYSE: C) 1% LOWER; Deutsche Bank downgraded from Buy to Hold with a price target of $56.00 (from $61.00). The change relates to the impact of Fed Taper and the end of QE.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) 1% LOWER; was downgraded from Buy to Hold Deutsche Bank with a price target of $30 (from $31). The change relates to the impact of Fed Taper and the end of QE.

Verint Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) 0.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.80, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $224.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $223.63 million. Verint Systems, Inc. sees Q4 2013 EPS of $0.81-$0.86, versus the consensus of $0.99. Verint Systems, Inc. sees Q4 2013 revenue of $250-259 million, versus the consensus of $252.18 million. Verint Systems, Inc. sees FY2013 EPS of $2.75-$2.80, versus the consensus of $2.78.

Walt Disney (NYSE: DIS) 0.5% HIGHER; declared an annual dividend of $0.86 per share, or $0.86 annualized. This is a 14.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.75.
