Item 8.01.  Other Events

 

On October 7, 2016, Liberty Media Corporation (the “Company”) announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Maffei, will host a conference call to discuss results for the third quarter of 2016 on Tuesday, November 8th, at 11:00 a.m. (E.S.T.).  Following prepared remarks, the Company will host a brief Q&A session during which management will accept questions regarding both the Company and Liberty Broadband Corporation.  During the call, Mr. Maffei may discuss the financial performance and outlook of both companies, as well as other forward looking matters including the proposed acquisition of Formula One by the Company.  

 

On October 11, 2016, the Company announced that it will webcast its annual Investor Meeting on Thursday, November 10, 2016 with presentations beginning at 9:00 a.m. (E.S.T.).  During these presentations, observations may be made regarding the Company's financial performance and outlook, as well as other forward looking matters including the proposed acquisition of Formula One by the Company.
