Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 4, 2016, PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) and Tracy Price, the Company’s Executive Vice President - Business Development and Land, mutually agreed to terminate Mr. Price’s employment without cause, effective as of October 7, 2016. Mr. Price will receive severance benefits consistent with the provisions regarding termination of employment without cause contained in his executive employment agreement with the Company, dated as of May 8, 2012 (the “Employment Agreement”). The foregoing description of the Employment Agreement is not complete and is qualified by reference to the complete document, which is filed herewith as Exhibit 10.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
