Item 7.01.  Regulation FD Disclosure

 

On July 5, 2016, Liberty Media Corporation (the “Company”) announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Maffei, will host a conference call to discuss results for the second quarter of 2016 on Friday, August 5th, at 11:30 a.m. (E.S.T.).  Following prepared remarks, the Company will host a brief Q&A session during which management will accept questions regarding both the Company and Liberty Broadband Corporation.  During the call, Mr. Maffei may discuss the financial performance and outlook of both companies,  as well as other forward looking matters.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Liberty Media Corporation’s (Nasdaq: LSXMA, LSXMB, LSXMK, BATRA, BATRK, LMCA, LMCK)  President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Maffei, will host a conference call to discuss results for the second quarter of 2016 on Friday,  August 5th at 11:30 a.m. (E.D.T.).  Following prepared remarks, the company will host a brief Q&A session during which management will accept questions regarding both Liberty Media Corporation and Liberty Broadband Corporation.  During the call, Mr. Maffei may discuss the financial performance and outlook of both companies, as well as other forward looking matters.
