On February 9, 2015, Kemper Corporation was notified by Julie M. Howard, a member of its Board of Directors, that she had decided not to stand for re-election at the 2015 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Ms. Howard will remain on the Board until May 6, 2015, the last day of the current term for all Board members.
