Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On September 10, 2015, Michael G. Livingston, a member of the Board of Directors since 2005 and President and Chief Executive Officer since 2008 of Glen Burnie Bancorp (the “Company”) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, The Bank of Glen Burnie (the “Bank”), notified the Company’s Board of Directors that, effective March 31, 2016, he will retire from his positions with, and as a director of, the Company and the Bank, after 19 years at the Bank, to spend more time with family and pursue personal interests. The Board of Directors will be forming a committee to conduct a search for a new President and Chief Executive Officer.
