Dividend

On January 18, 2017, CIT Group Inc. (the “Company” or “CIT”) issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend in the amount of $0.15 per common share, payable on February 24, 2017 to common shareholders of record on February 10, 2017. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

CIT DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

 

 

NEW YORK – Jan. [18], 2017 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per common share on its outstanding common stock. The common stock dividend is payable on Feb. 24, 2017 to common shareholders of record as of Feb. 10, 2017.
