Xueda Education Group Announces Resignation of a Director

 

BEIJING, April 27, 2015 — Xueda Education Group (NYSE: XUE) (“Xueda” or the “Company”), a leading national provider of personalized tutoring services for primary and secondary school students in China, today announced that Mr. William Hsu has resigned as a director of the Company for personal reasons, effective immediately.  Mr. Hsu was nominated to the Company’s Board of Directors by CDH, a former shareholder of the Company that liquidated its investment in the Company in March 2015.

 

Xin Jin, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xueda, stated, “I wish to thank Mr. Hsu for being part of our Board of Directors since 2011.  We appreciate his support and contribution over the years and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
