PRIMERO TO RELEASE THIRD QUARTER 2016 RESULTS ON NOVEMBER 9, 2016

Toronto, Ontario, October 5, 2016 – Primero Mining Corp. (“Primero” or the “Company”) (TSX:P) (NYSE: PPP) announced today that it plans to release its third quarter 2016 operating and financial results before the market opens on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. A conference call will also be held on the same day at 10:00 am ET to discuss third quarter operating and financial results.
