1. Portion of share increase due to periodic purchases by Albemarle Savings Plan trustee.
2. Transaction has no purchase or share price.
3. Performance Units vested on 2/24/2015. Shares withheld to meet tax liabilities associated with such vested shares.
4. Each Performance Unit converts to 1 share of Common Stock.
5. Performance Units issued on 2/22/2013 subject to achievement of performance objectives. Performance Units granted by Compensation Committee upon achievement of performance objectives. Performance Units vest over a 2 year period. 50% vested on 2/24/2015 and 50% will vest on 1/1/2016.
6. No expiration date.
7. Stock Options vest in three equal installments over 3 years: 2/24/2018, 2/24/2019 and 2/24/2020.

Know all by these presents, that the undersigned hereby constitutes and appoints each of Karen G. Narwold, Nicole C. Daniel and Jacob B. Wilson or any of them acting singly and with full power of substitution, the undersigned’s true and lawful attorney-in-fact to:

execute for and on behalf of the undersigned, in the undersigned’s capacity as an officer and/or director of Albemarle Corporation (the “Company”), Forms 3, 4 and 5 in accordance with Section 16(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the rules thereunder;

do and perform any and all acts for and on behalf of the undersigned that may be necessary or desirable to complete and execute any such Form 3, 4 or 5, complete and execute any amendment or amendments thereto, and timely file such form with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and any stock exchange or similar authority; and

take any other action of any type whatsoever in connection with the foregoing that, in the opinion of such attorney-in-fact, may be of benefit to, in the best interest of, or legally required by, the undersigned, it being understood that the documents executed by such attorney-in-fact on behalf of the undersigned pursuant to this Power of Attorney shall be in such form and shall contain such terms and conditions as such attorney-in-fact may approve in such attorney-in-fact’s discretion.
