Shares of RIM (Nasdaq: RIMM) are continuing lower Friday morning despite an earlier report from Canada's Globe and Mail which suggested the company won a federal court case related to trademarks on its BlackBerry Messenger service.

The court found RIM did not infringe on BBM Canada's trademark as the two companies operate within different industries.

The stock last traded at $10.25, down about 0.75 percent from Thursday's close. Shares will likely close this week down about 7 percent; shares are currently about 28 percent lower than the start of April.
