Palo Alto Networks (Nasdaq: PANW) and other network security firms are seeing mid-day interest on reports from Reuters, Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) is actively looking in the space.
Cisco tried to buy Palo Alto Networks before its IPO July 2012, but the two sides couldn't agree on price.
In addition to Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, Sourcefire (Nasdaq: FIRE), Fortinet (Nasdaq: FTNT) and Barracuda Networks were mentioned.
