Following Bristol-Myers Squibb's (NYSE: BMY) deal to acquire Hep C drug maker Inhibitex (Nasdaq: INHX) at a 163% premium over the weekend, speculators will be out in force in biotech-land Monday.

First and foremost, speculators will look at remaining Hep C drug developers Achillion Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ACHN) and Idenix Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: IDIX). Bigger and more established Hep C player Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: VRTX) could also find itself a target.

Others biotechs said to be takeover targets include:
Alexion Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ALXN), BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (Nasdaq: BMRN), Dendreon (Nasdaq: DNDN), Human Genome (Nasdaq: HGSI), Incyte Corporation (Nasdaq: INCY), InterMune (Nasdaq: ITMN), Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ONXX), Momenta Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: MNTA), Seattle Genetics (Nasdaq: SGEN) and ViroPharma Inc. (Nasdaq: VPHM).
