Akamai Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM) popped into the close following reports Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) CEO Tim Cook was seen in "deep in conversation" with Akamai's CEO Paul Sagan at the Sun Valley conference.
Shares closed down just 1 percent after trading down over 2 percent earlier.
