U.S. government boosts monitoring of Hurricane Joaquin: White House
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has increased its staffing to monitor Hurricane Joaquin, the White House said on Thursday, noting that President Barack Obama has been updated on progress to prepare for the storm.
