United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAUA) reported its preliminary consolidated traffic results for October 2009. The company reported an October consolidated passenger load factor of 83.1%. Total consolidated revenue passenger miles (RPMs) decreased in October by 1.6% on a consolidated capacity decrease of 4.3% in available seat miles (ASMs) compared with the same period in 2008.
