Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (Nasdaq: OMAB) reported that terminal passenger traffic at its 13 airports increased 10.4% in August 2012, as compared to August 2011. Domestic traffic increased 10.9%, and international traffic increased 7.3%. Traffic volumes have increased for twelve months in a row, starting in September 2011, as a result of the recovery of the air transport industry in Mexico and OMA's actions in coordination with the government and private sector to promote greater air connectivity in the markets where our airports are located.
Of total August traffic, 97.5% was commercial aviation and 2.5% was general aviation.
