Noodles & Co. (NDLS) Misses Q2 EPS by 3c

Noodles & Co. (NASDAQ: NDLS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.12, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $99.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $103 million.

• Comparable restaurant sales decreased 0.6% for company-owned restaurants, 1.2% for franchise restaurants and 0.7% system-wide.
• Comparable restaurant sales, when adjusted for the Easter holiday shift, increased 0.3% for company-owned restaurants and 0.2% system-wide.

Sees flat adjusted diluted earnings per share growth for FY14.
