McDonald's (MCD) Sees US Comps 'Flat to Down Slightly' in October; Sees Near-Term Softness in China
On the conference call, McDonald's CEO, Jim Skinner, has said that he sees U.S. same store sales flat to slightly down in October. Also, despite some expected near-term softness in the Chinese market, he expects positive October comparable sales in Asia.
Also notably, Skinner said that McDonald's angus burger is doing better than they had previously expected.
Shares of McDonald's most recently traded at $59.59, up 2.2% from yesterday's close.
