Ford Motor (F) China Sales Rose 28% in March; Q1 Sales Up 45%

Ford (NYSE: F), Chongqing Changan Automobile Co Ltd., and Jiangling Motors Corp Ltd. said March sales rose 28 percent in China to 103,815 units.
The number is a slowdown from a 67 percent year-over-year jump seen in February and 53 percent gain last January.
First-quarter 2014 sales were then up 45 percent over the prior-year period.
Ford's highest-demand car in China is the Ford Focus.
Shares of Ford are up 0.5 percent early.
