Duckwall-ALCO Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: DUCK) announced same-store sales were essentially equal to prior-year same period, down .4%.
Sales year-to-date increased 8.4% to $156.6 million compared to prior year sales of $144.4 million, and same-store sales increased 4.3%.
The sales from continuing operations for the most recent fiscal four week period ending May 31, 2009 increased 2.0% to $42.5 million compared to $41.6 million in the prior-year month.
