Chrysler LLC Reports 36% Decline in June Sales
Chrysler LLC reported total June 2008 U.S. sales of 117,457 units, which is 36% below the same period last year. Total June sales reflect a continued contraction of the market, especially of pickup trucks and SUVs, continued reductions in fleet sales, and increases in Chrysler's newest highly fuel-efficient vehicles. All sales figures are reported as unadjusted.
Chrysler's Let's Refuel America $2.99 Gas Guarantee Plus Cash program has been extended through July 31.
The Chrysler brand sold 27,128 vehicles in June 2008 vs. sales of 47,658 for June 2007 (-43%).
The Jeep brand sold 26,642 vehicles in June 2008 vs. sales of 44,600 for June 2007 (-40%).
The Dodge brand sold 63,687 vehicles in June 2008 vs. sales of 91,089 for June 2007 (-30%).

MARK on Jul 2, 2008 07:26 PMAnyone who purchases a Chrysler vehicle must be crazy, they can make all the future promises they want, Lifetime Warranty and gas reimbursement but the fact is these will only be reality if Chrysler LLC will be here to pay for them. This seems more unlikely each and every day.
