BJ's Wholesale (BJ) Same Store Sales Fell 4% Ex-Gas
BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. (NYSE: BJ) today reported sales for the month of May fell 4.7% to $783.4 million. On a same store sales basis, BJ's posted a 6.8% decline including a negative impact of 10.8% from lower gasoline prices and volume versus last year. However, excluding the impact of gasoline sales, merchandise comparable club sales increased by 4.0%.
