Aeropostale (ARO) Comps Rise 19% During May
Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) today announced sales of $132.9 million for the month of May, up 30% from the $102.3 million reported in May 08. Same store sales for the period rose 19%.
The Company noted that it continued to experience strong customer reaction to its summer collection, and that its merchandise margins for the month increased over last year. The Company also stated that its inventories remain well controlled and on plan.
