Aaron's (AAN) Misses Q3 EPS Views; Comps Fell 2.8%

Aaron's (NYSE: AAN) reported Q3 EPS of $0.13, $0.24 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $707.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $694.6 million.

Same store revenues (revenues earned in Company-operated stores open for the entirety of the quarter) decreased 2.8% during the third quarter of 2014 compared to the third quarter of 2013, and customer count on a same store basis was down 3.9%.

Aaron's sees Q4 2014 EPS of $0.34-$0.39, versus the consensus of $0.39.

Aaron's sees FY2014 EPS of $1.62-$1.67, versus the consensus of $1.68.
