Walmart Will Hold Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on June 3; Company Updates Fiscal 2017 Earnings Release Dates

BENTONVILLE, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) announced that the company’s 2016 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 8:00 a.m. CDT in the Bud Walton Arena at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. The meeting will be webcast on the company’s website at http://stock.walmart.com. The record date for that meeting will be April 8, 2016.

The company also updated its earnings release dates for fiscal 2017 to:

• 1st Quarter – May 19, 2016
• 2nd Quarter – August 18, 2016
• 3rd Quarter – November 17, 2016
• 4th Quarter – February 21, 2017
