WOW 1 DAY PAINTING Executes "The WOW 1 DAY" to Impact Many Communities in a Single Day

WOW 1 DAY PAINTING teams across North America, with the help of a number of generous local vendors, participated Friday in the first ever, "The WOW 1 DAY." The campaign had the company's franchises in Canada and the U.S. giving back to their communities to create the biggest possible impact in a single day.

WOW's big crews of painters helped paint interiors and exteriors of buildings for organizations including the Battered Women's Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties in Akron, Ohio; Rethink Breast Cancer in Toronto, Ontario; Big Brothers and Big Sisters of York in Aurora, Ontario; Strathcona Place 55+ Centre in Edmonton, Alberta; The Honour House Society in New Westminster, B.C.; and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Sarasota, Florida. Some franchises chose to undertake projects supporting deserving families in need within their communities.

"As a company, we wanted to make the biggest collective impact that we could in our communities in a single day," said James Alisch, managing director for WOW 1 DAY PAINTING. "When we work together, we have a much better chance of making a large and lasting impact."

All painting services were donated by WOW 1 DAY PAINTING franchise partners while paint and supplies were donated in large part by their vendors.
