Veteran Consumer Banker Brien Rowe Joins D.A. Davidson & Co., Further Expands Investment Banking Team

Appointment Marks Second Managing Director Hire in Two Weeks

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- D.A. Davidson & Co., a full-service national investment banking firm, announced today that it has hired Brien Rowe to join its growing investment banking team as managing director in its consumer and retail sector.

Rowe joins D.A. Davidson’s Costa Mesa office, expanding the firm’s banking team working in a growing and high-interest area: the apparel, retail and lifestyle sector. He joins the firm the week after D.A. Davidson announced that another banking veteran, Chris Rockers, had been added to expand its energy banking focus.

Rowe previously was with Intrepid Investment Bankers after earlier co-founding The Sage Group LLC, where he also led the firm’s lifestyle brands practice. Additionally, he has experience working with ING Barings, Schroder & Co., and the LBO Group of GE Capital Corporate Finance. Rowe’s experience encompasses a wide range of sectors within consumer. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, his MBA from the University of Southern California, and a certificate in financial planning from UCLA.
