Venture Global LNG Announces Regulatory Milestone For LNG Export Facility

WASHINGTON, May 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Venture Global LNG, Inc. is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLC., has submitted Resource Report 13 to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for Calcasieu Pass, a natural gas liquefaction and export facility in Cameron Parish, La.

Resource reports are required regulatory filings that detail all of the environmental and engineering components and designs of proposed energy projects. Draft versions are submitted during the pre-filing stage of project development, pending the submission of a formal application.

Venture Global Calcasieu Pass remains on track to submit its final FERC application in August 2015. This submission will be another important milestone in the company's plan to receive the permits and approvals to begin the construction and operation of its planned 10.0 MTPA (million metric tons per annum) LNG export facility.
