VRC Again Named Valuation Firm of the Year at the International M&A Awards

Firm chosen by industry peers for the fourth year in a row

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Valuation Research Corporation (VRC) was named the Valuation Firm of the Year at the International M&A Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

The Annual International M&A Awards honor the leading deal teams, firms and professionals whose activities set the standard for cross border M&A transactions.

“We’re honored to be recognized for four consecutive years by leading M&A professionals,” said Ray Weisner, managing director of VRC.

Experts in international M&A comprised the awards jury, including professionals from 19 firms including Castle Harlan, Ernst & Young, Garrigues, Proskauer Rose, and Shearman & Sterling.

This year, over 500 companies were award finalists. In valuation and other categories these included American Express, Bank of America, Dechert, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Houlihan Lokey, Jones Day, KPMG and The Carlyle Group.

VRC was also recently recognized as Valuation Specialist of the Year – United States at the 2015 ACQ Global Awards. Earlier this year, VRC was also named Best Hedge Fund Valuation Firm by Acquisition International for the 2015 Hedge Funds Awards.
