Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. (AMEX: UVE) announced that its board of directors has authorized the Company to repurchase up to $3,000,000 of its shares of outstanding common stock.
Under the repurchase program, management is authorized to repurchase shares through December 31, 2008, with block trades permitted, in open market purchases or in privately negotiated transactions at prevailing market prices in compliance with applicable securities laws and other legal requirements.
