Triple Canopy Wins $47.8M Federal Protective Services Contract

RESTON, Va., Aug. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Triple Canopy, Inc., a Constellis Group company and a leading provider of security and support services worldwide, has been awarded a $47.8 million contract by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Services (FPS) to provide protective security services throughout the state of Oklahoma. Triple Canopy will employ 135 protective security officers who will provide access control, x-ray screening, vehicle access control, and mobile and foot patrols at more than 40 federally-owned and leased facilities, primarily in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The period of performance is for one base year with four option years. In March, DHS awarded Triple Canopy an FPS subcontract to provide armed security services at 26 federal buildings and locations throughout Northern New Jersey. The company also recently received an award to provide subject matter experts to the Northern California Fusion Center. These security experts will provide the technical and analytical support needed to assist in program development and maintenance for the Northern California First Responder Terrorism Liaison Officer Program.
