Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) May 27, 2015

The Oxygen Plan Corporation (O2) joins the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator as its newest tenant. The health technology company specializes in digital behavioral health for organizational and individual stress management and is developing Stress Number® as the new health metric to be included on all health assessments. The Oxygen Plan Corporation is now being developed in collaboration with Mayo Clinic.

"Like any early-stage company, we experience challenges in gaining access to resources that can help us grow our business. As the newest tenant of the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator, we now have access to those resources in the Rochester business community. We are truly honored to be a part of this community initiative and look forward to contributing to the growth of this regional ecosystem," says Eric Lucas, CEO of The Oxygen Plan.

Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator provides infrastructure that enables entrepreneurism for the Rochester community. Founded by Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc. (RAEDI), City of Rochester, Mayo Clinic Treasury Services and Mayo Clinic Ventures, the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator provides collaborative space for new companies, venture capital firms and entrepreneurs. It also works with existing companies and service providers to support entrepreneurial ventures. Located in close proximity to Mayo Clinic, the space encompasses over 3,000 square feet within the skyway level of the Minnesota BioBusiness Center in Rochester, Minnesota. By bringing together like-minded entrepreneurs, investors and advisors, they've created a unique ecosystem for the Rochester community to share ideas, resources and expertise. This ecosystem, in turn, promotes local and regional economic development through new company creation and expansion.

"The Oxygen Plan is a great addition to our health-IT startup cluster. We welcome Eric and the rest of The Oxygen Plan team to the Accelerator and look forward helping them grow as a business and taking deeper roots in our community" says Xavier Frigola, Coordinator of the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator.

"In leading our go-to-market strategy, it's critical to identify local partners that can help us scale our business. The Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator provides numerous outlets for connecting with potential partners – this is an outstanding opportunity," says Eitel Dannenfels, VP of Business Development, The Oxygen Plan.
