The Best Embedded Business Intelligence Software According to G2 Crowd Winter 2017 Rankings, Based on User Reviews

G2 Crowd, the world's leading business software review platform, today released the Winter 2017 Embedded Business Intelligence Software Grid report to help businesses make the best embedded business intelligence technology buying decision. Looker and Logi Info were named Leaders in the report, receiving a strong customer satisfaction score with a large market presence.

Sisense, Exago, Dundas BI and Izenda were named High Performers in the report, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. Exago earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while Jaspersoft earned the highest overall market presence score.

The Grid leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender or Niche.

Key Findings:

"User adoption remains low -- Despite often being embedded into regularly used applications, embedded business intelligence software only has a 52% user adoption rate. This is not abnormal for the space, as both business intelligence platforms and self-service business intelligence solutions also have low user adoption rates. However, user adoption has actually decreased since the Summer 2016 Embedded Business Intelligence Grid Report.

"Enterprise users on the rise -- The share of enterprise reviewers has risen 5 percentage points since the previous report, with users from enterprise-sized companies now making up 20% of the overall reviews in the category. This increase in enterprise reviewers potentially points to larger companies gradually implementing embedded business intelligence tools.

"A pleasure to work with -- Users repeatedly appreciated working with vendors and their customer support teams. The average satisfaction rating for the ease of doing business metric is the highest in the category, at 91%. Quality of support comes in at a close second, with an average satisfaction rating of 89%. Embedding business intelligence tools is not always a simple process, but reviewers highlighted quality vendor relationships in both these satisfaction ratings and short-answer responses.
